Join our classroom Norwegian language courses in Oslo and receive an admission letter as a proof of your Norwegian studies registration to others like employers, organizations, to start your visa process and so on. Book your Norwegian courses before moving to Norway. You can start learning the language online and then continue your classes in Oslo if you want to.
How to Receive Confirmation of Admission to NLS Norwegian Language School
- Eligibility: All students can be granted a place in the Norwegian courses that the NLS Norwegian Language School provides, but the entire course fee has to be paid in advance.
- Validity: Your payment is valid for 12 months. After the school receives your payment, you have a year to join a course at the NLS Norwegian Language School. You can also opt for our online courses if you wish to start learning Norwegian before arriving in Norway.
- Flexibility: If you can’t join the course you’ve registered for, e.g., because of work or student situation, visa delays, or moving to Norway is postponed, you can change the starting date without any penalty, provided you inform us at least 14 days before the Norwegian course start date. You’ll be charged the difference if you opt for a more expensive course.
- Refund Policy: Our refund policy applies only to classes that have not yet been taken and is strictly limited to cases of a denied visa application. To be eligible for a refund, you must submit a formal request in writing and provide the official visa denial letter from the Norwegian Directorate of Immigration (UDI) as proof. Upon approval, a 60% refund will be issued for the value of the remaining, unattended portion of the course; the remaining 40% is retained as a non-refundable cancellation fee. Please note that refund requests for any other reason will not be accepted.
Admission Process with the NLS Norwegian Language School
- Choose Your Course: Enroll in classroom courses at our facilities in Oslo. Online courses are not eligible for visa or admission letters. However you can start the Norwegian classes online first, and then continue the classes in Oslo.
- Payment: Once you’ve chosen your course, complete the purchase. Full payment is required. Ensure you provide accurate information, including the legal name for the admission letter.
- Receiving the Admission Letter: Upon successful payment, you must contact us to initiate the processing of your admission letter. The letter will be sent to your email within three working days from the time you contact us.
- Course Commencement: Use the payment within 12 months to enroll in any of our classroom-based courses. If you’re still awaiting your public school admission, visa, etc., you can opt for online Norwegian courses or postpone your course start date.
Please note: This admission letter is intended to support applications for a visitor visa (for up to 90 days). It is not designed to meet the requirements for a student visa or other long-term residency permits, which have different criteria set by the Norwegian Directorate of Immigration (UDI).

- Duration: Choose between A. 3 months (120 hours) – NOK 30097,-. B. 6 months (240 hours) – NOK 48394,-, or C. 12 months (480 hours) – NOK 84388,-.
- Levels: Courses range from Level A0 to C1.
- Payment Validity: Your payment covers the full course and is valid for 12 months. If you can’t join the course you’ve registered for, you can postpone the start date without any penalty, provided you inform us at least 14 days in advance. You can postpone the classes up to two times without adding extra fees.
