The Norwegian: Social Studies course is designed for adult immigrants who have recently arrived in Norway or have lived in Norway for a maximum of five years. The course is available in both Norwegian and English. 

If you are between the ages of 18 and 67 and want to apply for Norwegian citizenship, you must have passed the citizenship or social studies exam in Norwegian.

The goal of the Norwegian: Social Studies course that we offer, is to provide students with a thorough introduction to Norwegian society, the Norwegian political system, the Norwegian way of life, and every Norwegian citizen’s rights and obligations.
